GROUND BASED NETWORK
BAJA OBSERVATORY
The Baja Observatory was firstly established in 1955, during the reconstruction after the Second World War, by an amateur astronomer, Mihály Borbás. The observatory is now operated by the University of Szeged. It is primarily used for astronomical research and education. Since 2010, they measure the night sky brightness with an SQM instrument.
