HORTOBÁGY NATIONAL PARK
The Hortobágy National Park is not only the first but also the biggest Hungarian national park to date. It received a silver tier Dark Sky Park designation from the International Dark Sky Association in 2011. Light pollution is measured by the introduced fixed station, but mobile measurements are also organised occassionally in the area.
